Data Protection & Privacy Notice (GDPR)

Pursuant to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679 - GDPR), this notice describes how CLUTCH ARENA collects, stores, and processes personal data for registered players and tournament organizers.

1. Data Collected & Purpose of Processing

  • Account Credentials: Email address and encrypted password (managed via Supabase Auth bcrypt encryption) for account authentication.
  • In-Game Identity (Riot ID): VALORANT Name#TAG, competitive rank (Current & Peak MMR), and match telemetry to generate brackets, enforce rank caps, and render 2D Replay analysis.
  • Discord OAuth2 & ClutchBot: Discord username, snowflake ID, and guild IDs (for organizers) to automate private Match Room channels.

2. User Rights & Data Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)

Under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, or complete deletion of your account data at any time via support@clutcharena.app or our official CLUTCH ARENA Discord support channel.

Discord Bot (ClutchBot) Data Privacy & Developer Policy

In compliance with the Discord Developer Terms of Service and Discord Developer Policy, this section details how our official Discord application (ClutchBot, Application ID: 1548973966549319700) interacts with Discord servers and user data.

  • Discord Data Stored: ClutchBot only processes technical identifiers required to run tournaments: Discord User ID (Snowflake), public Discord username, Server (Guild) ID, Role IDs, and temporary Match Room Channel IDs.
  • Zero Message & Voice Logging: ClutchBot does NOT read, log, store, or archive general server chat messages, private DMs, or voice channel audio streams. We never sell Discord data to third parties or use it to train AI models.
  • Ephemeral Match Channels & Removal: Private tournament text and voice channels created by ClutchBot are automatically deleted once a match concludes. Server Owners can revoke ClutchBot permissions at any time by kicking the bot from their Discord server, and users can request immediate deletion of their linked Discord ID by opening a support ticket in our official Discord server.

Anti-Smurf Protocol & 60-Day Riot ID Lockout

⚠️ Binding Anti-Smurf Clause

To protect rank-capped tournaments (e.g. Max Gold, Max Platinum, Max Diamond) from smurfing, every player must register their primary VALORANT account.

  • Upon verification, your Riot ID is locked for 60 consecutive days and cannot be swapped mid-season.
  • Account sharing or playing on secondary accounts to bypass a tournament Rank Cap results in immediate disqualification.

1v1, 2v2 & 5v5 Roster Integrity Rules

All players entered into a 1v1 Solo Duel, 2v2 Wingman Duo, or 5v5 Team lobby must match the exact Riot IDs registered on the tournament bracket.
